Il tributo di Miranda Lambert per il suo cane Waylon

La nota cantante statunitense country, Miranda Lambert ha detto addio al suo amato amico a quattro zampe Waylon. All’inizio del mese, la star ha pubblicato un post su Instagram, con il quale ha dato il triste annuncio ai suoi numerosi fan. Parole commoventi, accompagnate dalle foto della crescita del cucciolo.

La cantante ha trovato Waylon e la sua sorellina pelosa Jessi, abbandonati sul ciglio della strada in pessime condizioni. Quando li ha portati dal veterinario, quest’ultimo l’ha subito avvertita delle scarse possibilità di vita del maschio. Ma invece Waylon si è dimostrato un vero guerriero ed ha vissuto al suo fianco per ben 13 anni.

Today I lost one of my best friends. My old pal Waylon. I found him and his sister on the side of the road in Oklahoma in January 2008. They were abandoned , starving and freezing nearly to death. I was listening to Jessi Colter and Waylon Jennings at the time me and mom saw them and pulled over to pick them up. I took them straight to the vet and she told me that the little boy was not doing too well (malnourished and dehydrated ) because whatever they had found to eat while they were homeless, he always let her eat first. He did that nearly his whole life. She said he probably wouldn’t make it but he did. For almost 13 years. He was a rock in our family and always held down the fort. He lived his life with no fences. The way we all want to live. He was a farm dog through and through and retired to Nashville life riding on the bus with mama to go home to Texas for Christmas every year. I’m so thankful for the time we had with him and I’m thankful for the rest of the time we have with his sister Jessi. Im so glad my husband @brendanjmcloughlin got to know him in his final years.💙 We are heartbroken but happy that he is running across the rainbow bridge right now and will be waiting for us when we get there. 🌈 Dogs change your life. The bond is something that can’t be described unless you have lived it. Il suo salvataggio, ha stravolto la vita di Miranda e le ha insegnato a guardare gli animali con un’altra prospettiva. Il rapporto che aveva con il suo Fido, andava oltre ogni immaginazione. Per questo motivo, ha sentito di dover fare qualcosa dopo la sua morte.

Miranda sentiva che il suo cane meritava di più di un addio sui social network, così ha deciso di fare qualcosa di speciale. Qualcosa che gli avrebbe ricordato per sempre l’amico più fedele e sincero che ha conosciuto in tutta la sua vita.

Con l’aiuto della famosa stilista Tiffany Gifford, Lambert ha trovato il modo perfetto per mantenere vivo il ricordo del suo cane. Ha piantato un albero nella fattoria in suo onore.

Le tue zampe hanno lasciato impronte sui nostri cuori WAYLON.

La cantante ha spiegato che quell’albero ora crescerà nella fattoria di famiglia, come simbolo dell’eterna presenza del cane e avrà anche un impatto positivo sull’ambiente.

Quando avrà bisogno di lui, ci sarà quell’albero. Un posto dove torneranno alla mente i ricordi più belli, i sorrisi e le coccole.

Il gesto di Miranda Lambert ha fatto il giro del mondo.
