Harry Windsor e Meghan Markle non sono più Sussex Royal: “Grazie di tutto”

Di Harry Windsor e della sua bellissima moglie Meghan Markle si è parlato tanto e per molto tempo. La coppia reale ha preso strade divergenti dalla famiglia ed ora hanno detto ufficialmente addio come Sussex Royal e su un post in instagram hanno scritto: “Grazie di tutto“.

“After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution. We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen. It is with your encouragement, particularly over the last few years, that we feel prepared to make this adjustment. We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages. This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity. We look forward to sharing the full details of this exciting next step in due course, as we continue to collaborate with Her Majesty The Queen, The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge and all relevant parties. L’ex Principe Harry famoso fin da piccolo per essere il ribelle della Royal Family e la bella moglie Meghan Markle hanno quindi preso una decisione davvero importante, quella di dire addio al nome Sussex Royal sia per gli eventi a fini di beneficenza, sia per il sito che per i post che pubblicheranno su Instagram. Nell’ultimo post pubblicato sul social network, si sono firmati semplicemente con il loro nome di battesimo.

La Regina Elisabetta II, ha vietato all’ex principe Harry Windsor e a Meghan Markle di usufruire del marchio Sussex Royal. La coppia però non sembra affatto dispiaciuta della scelta presa dalla Regina Elisabetta dato che la stessa Meghan non amava particolarmente del tutto gli obblighi reali e proprio qualche tempo fa ha raccontati di come sposare Harry non sia stata solo una favola.

Si tratta di una scelta certamente clamorosa: rinunciare al titolo reale ed uscire dalla Royal Family come membri senior non è cosa da poco. Ma la coppia Harry Windsor e Meghan Markle ha sempre manifestato di voler costruire una propria indipendenza nonostante abbiano affermato: “Continueremo a supportare pienamente Sua Maestà La Regina”.

 

Nel lungo messaggio diretto a coloro che li hanno sempre seguiti e sostenuti, ringraziano di cuore per l’affetto e la partecipazione alla loro scelta, ormai in caldo da tempo. In una nota, riportata da TheSun, è stato sottolineato che la coppia non userà più Instagram e il sito che riportano il marchio Sussex Royal. La coppia Harry Windsor e Meghan Markle catalizzeranno la loro attenzione per tutti i prossimi mesi alla loro famiglie e alla fondazione di una nuova organizzazione non-profit.

“Come concordato con la Famiglia Reale, il Duca e la Duchessa del Sussex non useranno più il nome Sussex Royal per le loro organizzazioni benefiche, per Instagram o per il sito. Il Duca e la Duchessa del Sussex trascorreranno i prossimi mesi concentrandosi sulla loro famiglia e continuando a fare ciò che possono, in sicurezza e privatamente, per supportare le iniziative benefiche pre-esistenti mentre sviluppano la futura organizzazione non-profit. Dopo il post di oggi, il Duca e la Duchessa del Sussex non posteranno più su Instagram sotto il nome ‘Sussex Royal’ e non aggiorneranno più il sito SussexRoyal.com. Sia l’account Instagram che il sito rimarranno online, sebbene inattivi”.
